Sincere Sympathy to Kathy's Family

Mary Taft McKenna ( Teacher at Holliman School for one year)
August 16, 2017
I am very sorry to hear of Kathy's passing. I met her a few times through my stepmother, Barbara Sullivan.

As I was telling my husband, she was a very interesting woman. When we spoke at a few family outings, we talked about education, politics, children and Edgewood.

I grew up in Edgewood and lived there for a while when I first got married and miss it. She was a very nice woman and quite an accomplished yet down to earth woman. May she rest in peace.

We are very sorry to read that Kathy has passed away. We remember her happy disposition and her lovely smile. We always enjoyed speaking with her and catching up when she would come to see us at Strand Optical for her eyeglasses. May she rest in peace as she joins her beloved husband in heaven for all eternity.

Miss Ball was my 4th grade teacher at Manville Elementary School and I adored her. Many students from the Albion School were moved to the Manville School after 3rd grade and Miss Ball made the transition very easy. I know many of my classmates felt the same way about her. I'm sure she'll be greatly missed by her loved ones. My deepest condolences.
