Prayer Shawls 4 Fallen Soldiers (ps4fs@charter.net) is an organization with groups throughout the country who strive to send handmade prayer shawls and/ or lap robes to families who have lost a loved one in service to our country. Members of Trindle Spring Lutheran Church in Mechanicsburg, PA would like to honor your son’s sacrifice and memory by sending our prayers and comfort through a shawl which we will mail to you. If you are interested, please contact me at gramman@comcast.net with the names and addresses and what they would like to receive. We will send them as soon as possible. Also, if you know of any other families who are grieving the loss of a loved one who died serving our country, please pass along my e-mail address, as our organization can no longer get family contacts through the military. May God bless you and comfort you in the days ahead. Sincerely, Lynne

Kyle,
I'm a Pawtucket Veteran too...thank you...we all gave some, yet, you gave it all. I brought some many of you home on my missions from the desert...only us who serve or have served will understand. I some days feel alone, but, I know we are special and we are brothers. the Portuguese Medic!

To the Coutu family:
May the comfort from family and friends continue to strengthen you, and may you find comfort in the words found in the Holy Scriptures: "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."

I am the mother of Marine Sergeant Jeff Anderson who is currently serving over in Afghanistan. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy for the loss of your Marine. I know no words are going to help, but please know what a hero your Marine is to all of us. I can't even imagine what you must be going through, but please know that even if we don't know you, we are so sorry for your loss. I hope time will help heal your heart a little. God Bless you and your family.
