Dear Mrs. Charon, Denise, Kenny, Louie, Denise and Ed:
I just this minute learned of Mr. Charon's going home to the Lord. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Mr. Charon was the consummate gentlemen, a gentle, humble, compassionate man. I recall his wonderful laugh as he would smoke on his pipe. La paix de Dieu soit toujours avec vous.

I am deeply saddened by the loss of someone who was like a grandfather to me for so many years. I always loved when he came to Pittsburgh to see the family, and when I went to Providence as Katie's Nanny he treated me like family!! He made me the most beautiful keepsake that I will treasure always!! Heaven has truly gained an angel!! I will never forget Papa Charron.
Sincerely,
Gail(Denti)Serianni

My daughters, Camara and Camden, and I will surely miss Mr. Charron and the many visits he made to Pittsburgh. What a great guy who was always friendly, had a terrific smile, and could always make us laugh. We always looked forward to his visits. There are very few people, on this earth, like Mr. Charron and our lives are richer because he was such a big part of our extended family.
