Unfortunately I don't have words. I do know the feeling of becoming an orphan. As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

Very sorry to hear about your mom.

I'm very sorry to hear of the passing of your mother Mrs. Nixon. I do believe this is the same Mrs. Nixon I had as a music teacher in elementary school back in the day. I am 56 now and I went to Norwood Elementary School in Warwick so I'm pretty sure it was her. I remember her being very nice and I can picture her face and hair style and the fact that she liked and wore red lipstick. It was cute too because she always used her pitch pipe before each song.

May she rest in everlasting peace.

My condolences to the Nixon sons. I am a cousin and remember visiting your house in Bonnet Shores. I also remember my dad bringing us and my grandmother Blanchard to your grandparent's house likely in Providence. There was a very large in the house. Also, remember seeing your dad at I believe Cranston West where I think he was Athletic Director? All the best at the loss of your mom that I knew when you and she were quite young. Time sure marches on.
