NOBREGA JR., RONALD H.
55, passed away accidentally, Tuesday, July 25 2017. He was born in Providence, a son of Ronald H. Nobrega, Sr. of Smithfield and the late Claire A. (Burns) Nobrega. He has been a Greenville resident since 1973 and was an avid skier, New England Patriot's fan and enjoyed riding his motorcycle. Ron was an 1980 graduate of LaSalle Academy and played on the lacrosse, soccer and track teams. He also played youth hockey for NRI for many years and was a member of Midstate Gun Co. Ron worked as a core buyer/truck driver for Rebuilders Automotive Supply Co. in Coventry for 32 years. In addition to his father, he is survived by his children, Christopher Nobrega of Greenville and Jessica Mulcahey and her husband Raymond of Chepachet. He was the brother of Darrell Nobrega of Smithfield, Sharon D'Angelo of Pittsburgh, PA and Narragansett, RI, Robin Boulanger, Lynn Gaulin and Julia Hare all of Smithfield. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held Monday, July 31, 2017 at 8:15am from the TUCKER-QUINN Funeral Home, 643 Putnam Pike (Rt.44) Greenville, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30am in St. Philip's Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville. Graveside burial will be Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. Visitation Sunday, July 30, 2017 from 4-8pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to American Kidney Foundation, 11921 Rockville Pike, Suite 300, Rockville, MD 02852 will be appreciated.
