To the Butler Families,

I grew up in Kings Park and went to High School with Tommy who was a year ahead of me. I only just found out about your loss and wish to send my hearfelt condolences.

Though we lost touch years ago, I have such fond memories of swimming in the Butler pool and the Urban Cowboy party at the Butler house, church dances and looking for Tommy the day John Lennon died. Those were amazing and wonderful years and I'll treasure the memories forever.

I only knew him as teenager and not the man he became. Based on the other entries here, it sounds like Tommy was a wonderful, hard working, fun, loving husband and father.

May you find strength, laughter, love, and comfort in your memories.

- Phyllis Cannella
