Peggy & Jeremy, My heart sank today and I was deeply saddened to just now discover the tragic news regarding Wayne, as I was just trying to reconnect with him. I worked very closely with Wayne for many years on & off having sold and built 2 custom trade show exhibits for him. When he was with Grinnell, we took those hundreds of different types of sprinkler heads and was trying to figure out how to display them in an easy and organized manner, when while at a friends's wedding, the answer was revealed! A wedding cake-type display! Wayne got sooooo excited when we shared and then yes! built a customized and lighted tiered wedding cake looking display where we simply threaded in the heads and got them all off the table. It was sooo cool!!! Then, it got even more exciting a few years later when we designed and built the "Thunder & Lighting" Exhibit for APC that debuted at PC Expo in Toronto and I believe stole the show!! Wayne was very straight-forward, if he thought it, we did it! Yes...I got pretty good at reading his mind and making sure I took him to lunch....often!! :)
I, of course, never met you Jeremy, but he talked about you a lot! He was a good man and always treated me well and respectfully. I am so saddened by your lose and it was a pleasure to know him!

Respectfully,
Michael Roy

It was a wonderful day at work when the first person I saw in the morning was Wayne. I would always ask him how he was doing, and he always replied, "awesome," to which I replied "awesome 2". We set up the day for each other. He was a cheerful man who cared for his team and treated them with endearing respect. And he always had a story to tell about his wife, son and his son's family. He so loved and enjoyed them all. May God Bless his family always.
