Barbara and I knew Mary and Alan when we attended Five Forks Church. Barbara sang in a quartet with Alan. We spent a lot of time together having fun. It is sad that we are losing so many of our friends, however, it is a time of rejoicing for he has a new body living in heaven. Our prayers are with you at this.

Alan, I enjoyed playing music with you . . . many gigs in the Hagerstown area and lots of fun times. We would bring many smiles to faces, especially when they heard you sing tunes of Marty Robbins. May you continue to sing with the angels.

Dear Cheryl, Beverly and Nancy,

We would like to express our sympathy to you and your families. You are blessed to have so many memories of special times spent with him. Even at this sad time, we rejoice with you that he no longer is bound by the illness that consumed his body. We praise God for His faithfulness to Uncle Alan all these years and for the assurance that he is now in the presence of his Heavely Father.

Cheryl, Bev and Nancy and families.. we are thinking of you, grieving with you at the loss of your dad (Uncle Alan to me!) and yet there is a sweetness to the loss...we know that he is free now of the earthly body that had encased him; I hope he is singing at the top of his lungs (he could do that like nobody's business!) Love to you all...
