Please accept our deepest sympathy at the loss of Russ. Bonnie and I only knew you from Trinity Church for a short time, but we always enjoyed the two of you very much. And that's a true story...

Russ was an example to all of us of how to live life to the fullest. Always smile and have something positive to say even when negativity has you in its grasp. Be involved. With a heart twice the size of most of us, I believe he must have always told himself, "If it is to be, then it is up to me." He not only enjoyed the lifestyle of this small, close-knit community, he was the very spirit of it. Anyone that knew Russ knew they had at least one lifelong friend. For years to come, whether it be Old Home Week, a holiday event, or any event in the town of Greencastle, Russ will be thought of warmly. Rest in peace, dear friend.

God knows how to pick his Angels. Boy did he get a good one.
Our deepest sympathy to Dodie and the family. Your infectious mannerisms will never be matched, but for sure talked about and carried on for many years to come.

Wow....you leave us with a legacy to always keep smiles and laughter in our hearts. You were a delight in the Mistrel Shows and a lot of fun on the Trolley Ride. Just bumping into you around town brightened the day. You will be missed. Dody, my condolences on the loss of the love of your life. He is with you even though you can't see him. May God's healing graces comfort you as you mourn.

Why is it when a wonderful soul returns home, we remaining feel so such sorrow? I knew him only because of Carvel. I went there often on Friday at the end of my paper route(1979 to 1982) He was kind and gentle each day. A fatherly person I could only imagine. After Carvel closed I never seen him again and often thought of him. He was a more outstanding soul than I knew. He and his family and friends will be in my prayers today. I'm sorry for your loss, and may your memories with him bring comfort to you all, always.
