Olin P. Perry Olin P. Perry, 78, of Chambersburg, died on the morning of Monday, March 10, 2014, at his home. He was born on April 2, 1935, in Scotland, Pa., a son of the late Rev. Leroy and Belle Margaret Rice Perry. On January 10, 1953, Olin married Ms. Patsy E. Kelso in Waynesboro, with their wedding officiated by his father. Olin worked in Quality Control for the Westinghouse Oceanic Division, Annapolis, Md., for 34 years, retiring in 1992. He was a "Jack of All Trades" with carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work around the house. Olin could fix just about anything. He liked to fish, golf, watch television, and in earlier years, liked to travel with his wife Patsy. Olin also had a great interest in local Civil War history. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Patsy; his daughter, Vickie (John) Ellis of Rankin, Ill.; a son, Bradley (Brenda) Perry of Pasadena, Md.; four grandchildren, Kelly Settlemoir, Shannon Ellis, Brandon Perry, and Brittany Perry; three great-grandchildren, Caden, Cole, and Kieran Settlemoir; and one brother, Jay Perry. In addition to his parents, Olin was preceded in death by one son, Ricky P. Perry, who died on October 3, 2009; two brothers, and one sister. His funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, March 14, 2014, at the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Inc., Shippensburg. The Rev. Herbert C. Spomer will officiate. Interment will follow in the Norland Cemetery. Viewing will be one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter at 5051 Letterkenny Road West, Chambersburg, PA 17201-8706.
