Zachary Hain Obituary


News Death Notice

HAIN, Zachary P. Zak passed away, peacefully, on Sept. 8, 2010. He was at home surrounded by family & friends. Zak was born on Dec. 10, 1986 in Torrence, CA. He & his family moved to Fort Collins in 1993. He attended Johnson Elementary, Webber Jr. High & Rocky Mnt. High School. Zak suffered a traumatic brain injury on Sept. 5, 2002. This left him as a quadriplegic with "locked in" syndrome, incapable of speech or the ability to use his body in any functional capacity. Zak was totally aware & alert of his surroundings & with the help of the Poudre School District was able to obtain his GED. Zak continued to touch the lives of numerous people after his accident. Zak is survived by his parents, Dick & Cindy (Fox) Hain, his brother, Sam Hain, his grandmothers, Betty Hain of Fort Collins, and Jane Fox of Hamilton, OH, along with many aunts, uncles & cousins.
