Aunty Dorothy:
I had no idea! I looked you up on Facebook last night and wondered how you are doing. On a hunch I googled your name and saw this. I am so sorry the last time we talked was when mom passed away and I was super upset. I am so sorry I did not keep in touch after both my parents passed. I remember how hard you try to keep in touch and i will forever have the fond memories of Kobe, and your last visit to Georgia. Please tell my mom and dad hello. The three of you are together again just like old times, drinking tea and talking up a storm.
Love, Angie.

Aunty Keiko. While our family was on the east coast, far from most of our relatives on the west coast, Keiko visited us regularly. I can now even remember the sound of her voice and her easy laugh. Her and Uncle Huang's visits were high points for me while growing up. As an adult, I saw her less. But she and Uncle Huang attended my wedding, and I was very touched by that as they were implicit surrogates for my deceased father. I'm saddened that my son won't get the chance to know his great Aunt Keiko better.

Dorothy - You were a bright light the moment I met you. I can feel the warmth of your smile just thinking about you. You had a sweet laugh and you memory warms my heart. Much love and peace to your family. You will be missed dearly. With love, Lori
