My thoughts are with the family during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there is hope for our loved ones lost in death can be reassuring.

Dear Pat and sons,
Our deepest sympathy to you and your family on the passing of Judge Ed. All your long term neighbors on Firthridge Road will certainly miss the Judge very dearly.
Let us know if we can assist you with anything.
Sincerely,
Gail and Bob Ng

Dear Mrs. Hinz and Sons, I am sending deep condolences to your family on the passing of your husband and father. About five years ago I came late to a So. Bay Bar Assn Dinner and found no empty spots throughout the room. I was going to the back and take another look around and noticed Retired Justice Hinz sitting at a table by himself. He looked up and said, "Please join me." I didn't do criminal law, so I was not a regular in his Court room, and he didn't know my name, but his genuine kindness and polite manner made me smile. This was his hallmark.
