Edward Gregory passed away in Palm Desert, CA on November 3, 2013. Ed was born in Los Angeles to Edward and Ruth Gregory, née Smittle. He was raised in Highland Park and lived in southern California almost his entire life. He enlisted in the US Navy upon graduating from Franklin High School and served as a radioman on a PBM patrol flying boat. He raised his sons in Torrance, CA and was past president of the Lomita Chamber of Commerce and active in the Lions Club, Boy Scouts, and South High Football Boosters. Ed retired from the Southern California Gas Company and spent his retirement years traveling with his wife Betty, skiing until he was 80, playing golf, and just about anything else he felt like doing. He is survived by his wife Betty, sons Jess and Jon, step children Paul and Debbie, their spouses, ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. He will be interred at Riverside National Cemetery.
