I never really knew PFC Bosveld until that unfortunate night. She was just another quiet soldier in our company. I was the personnel sergeant at the time and had to gather information on her when we received the news. I will always remember the glasses she wore. When I got back from Iraq I started looking through my pictures and found one with me standing next to her in a fighting position on top of the Abu Graib Police station. It's amazing how little things like that will touch your heart forever.
