First off Ralph, let me say that you were one of a kind, in the greatest of ways! I am 48 and a Mets fan and I grew up with you. I remember when you had Tom Seaver on Kiners Korner(which I cassette taped) many times including my first one that I remember, the labor day game from 1975 after Seaver had won and beat the Pirates and struck out Sanguillen, for his 8th srtaight year with 200 or more K's. It is those memories that started a lifetime of great ones from you and I continued to enjoy and savor whenever you were on and made appearances through September of 2013. I had the pleasure of meeting you several occasions and signing baseballs for me so gracisously I may add.You were a first class act! You had a great career as well and you will be in the Hall of Fame in heaven as well. Sympathy to your entire family and may you rest in peace. You will never ever be forgotten and you will always be with us, although things will never be the same without you physically here.I will honor you in my baseball league that I play in still, to this day, by this year, wearing a commerative patch in tribute to you!
