Mary Ann:

Deeply sorry to hear about Ray. I have fond memories of living behind you in Meadowbrook. Always laugh about Ray standing at the fence, while I was cutting grass, trying to snatch my Redskins cap, and replacing with one he held from the Falcons... God bless you.

Mary Ann and family I am so sorry to hear about Ray's passing, we became friends a long time ago when we worked A.L. Williams and he trained my son Jason to get him ready for college football and we met up again at the institute, Ray was a wonderful person who loved to tease and you couldn't get mad with him. I pray for God to heal your broken hearts and keep you strong .

Ray was one of the best defensive backs ever to play for U.R. Despite his size, he was one of the hardest hitting tacklers I ever saw in college football. He was a great example of courage and committment. He will be remembered by all who came into contact with him, both on and off the field. With sincerest sympathy to his family, Norton Howe
