Dear Janie, I have been a fan of Ray's since I was about 19 years old. I am now almost 69. I was lucky enough to have attended quite a few of his concerts and meet him backstage, with my husband, on several occasions. What a gracious man he was. To me, his voice was like no other. The mellow notes were a sound that no one else could achieve! I remember when you two married. You were so beautiful. Thank you for sharing your husband with us all of these years. May God bless you with peace of mind and a calmness knowing that your loving Ray is near your side. Vickie

I am so happy my husband and I had the opportunity to see and hear the awesome Ray Price at the Birchmere in Alexandria Virginia. It must have been one of his last performances and the voice was so amazing. Rest in peace Mr. Price.... in Tex Ritter's hillbilly heaven. You were one of the few classic ....very distinctive country voices. !!

MR PRICE, YOU WERE THE GREATEST COUNTRY SINGER. YOU CAME FROM OLD COUNTRY MUSIC. THE COUNTRY MUSIC TODAY IS NOT COUNTRY. I LEARNED TO TWO STEP WITH MY BOYFRIEND AT 18. NOW I'M 60 AND FORGOT HOW TO TWO STEP. YOU WERE THE GREATEST. RIP
