The photo posted of Ray is from our roller hockey team the Freewheelers taken in 1999. Ray wore #9 and I was #11. Ray had another friend of his families named Mark so when I called the house I was referred to as "Hockey Marc". My boys are twelve and eleven years old, playing competitive hockey and wear #'s 9 & 11 and have been wearing them in all sports as well. Ray took me to Stanely Cup games for the Devils, and the funniest thing ever was when he road raged me in Westchester and I didnt know it was him. Who"s the guy who used to chest bump him at the Patriots games? I always wondered about those friends who found his seat empty in Foxboro. I'm a Giants fan, but Pats won Super Bowl later that winter. I was choked up as U2 rolled the victims names up on the screen at halftime but when Bono opened his jacket and it was lined with the American flag, I wept, and am now. Ray was such a proud American, proud fan of sports and music, and most of all a proud husband and Father. Rock on Bro!
