My sincere condolences and warm regards to the Hathaway Family. Senator Hathaway was a wonderful person. I will always be grateful for his kindness in employing me on his staff fresh out of college...my very first job and his support for my current job (34 years). The world needs more people like the Senator!

Thank you for your service to our great Nation very few people have had that defining moment when the immediate action is required to save their lives. To jump out of a plane going down took true grit, and then to be a POW is defined from by this Kentuckian as a hero. We could use some more people like you in Washington that have experienced the horrors of war, and maybe they would not be in such a hurry to stat them. May you Rest in Peace.
