I worked for Jack as a teenager to help plant and water all the walnut trees at the ranch on Pitney Lane. Jack taught me to work hard and learn about everything. He taught me how to sight in a rifle. He was very supportive of my attending college-always called me 'Joe College.' He was a great mentor. My deepest sympathy to his family. He will be missed.
Please accept my deepest sympathies to Matt and the entire family. Jack was a real good man.
we will miss you old friend
Matt, Joe and are so sorry to hear about your dad. Joe & Shirley Dias
My sincere condolences to Matt and your family. Your dad was a great man with a wealth of knowledge. He just knew so much about so many subjects.
It was not mentioned so I will do so. He was also an avid hot-rodder and fabricator. One of the first around this area that I knew of to use turbocharging. He also used his fabrication skills to transplant different engines into different trucks.
My dad said his well drilling skills were never matched, and I agree.
Love, perseverance and integrity is how he lived his life, what an example to follow. Celebrate a life well lived. You will cherish the memories forever.
To my darling Uncle Jack...you gave me lessons for living life in honest ways, and laughter to treasure forever. I will miss you here on the Planet, but am joyful you are free and off to visit my dad, your identical twin brother Jerry, and your beloved wife, Ellie...say Hi to all for me!
I'm so sorry to hear about Jack. From the very first time I went out on a well seal inspection, knew that I would be drilled on Bulletin 74-81 until he was satisfied and I better watch where the grout was going if I didn't answer the questions correctly. Of course any splatters were completly accidental! I came to respect him so much for his vast knowledge, his well drilling experience and his wry sense of humor too. My sincere sympathy to Matt and all his family.
My sincere condolences to the family of jack. A great man. nevel lyons, spanish Springs nv.
