I will miss my uncle who was always entertaining, always looking for the next great deal. He was an entrepreneur before it was trendy. He was always proud of his Texas roots and he loved his western boots! I will miss he and Aunt Elsie very much.
May the God of all comfort help you during this difficult time and may tender memories bring comfort in the days to come.
I have known you and Elsie for many years. You were such a awesome person I enjoyed being around you and listening to your stories and your little songs you would sing to me. I know I wasn't around you for awhile but I had my problems going on but anyways Jack I thought about you often. It was so sad the last time I saw you because you didn't remember me. I will miss you and think about you forever R.I.P my friend.
I first met Jack and Elsie in 1995 when they were searching for their new home in Lakeport. I soon learned that Jack was a very shrewed negotiator . Always looking for a great deal , Jack bought and sold many properties over the years. Jack also collected antiques and had an amazing talent for repairing and restoring a variety of items from classic cars to antique toys to Coca Cola machines.
Jack had a great sense of humor and always seemed to have a smile on his face and a hug for me.
I will miss those smiles and hugs .
God bless you Jack Pounds.
Gone but never forgotten....
