Aunt Marty, I will remember you with the best love. I think back to a time when my sister Liz and I stayed with you in San Mateo during the summer and could count on ice cream sandwiches after dinner and perfectly braided hair during the day. Later, I remember summers at LoJeBe and trips to the library in Lakeport and dinners together as one big family. Most of all, I will remember your most generous heart and the love you freely gave to your family. I will think of you always..... Cathy

How lovely it is to remember all the times we would drive to 1330 Enchanted
Way when our children and the Bolyan children were growing up---Aunt Marty
always had a good dinner to share and the kids loved being with each other.
Same thing when we used to go to Lakeport in summer when everybody was older--again the great meal and the wonderful visit. Uncle Lawrence was proud of his "farm". I would sit at the table with Marty to have a 4 o'clock coffee and the kids would explore the farm---these memories do not fade, ever. I still think of Lawrence and Marty as being in the "present" and will continue to think that way until the end of time-----Aunt Dace

Marty was always interested in what was happening in each of our lives and loved hearing "the latest." She appreciated simple pleasures and left me with happy memories of exchanges in the kitchen, in the garden, at family gatherings. As the heart of LoJeBe, we feel her absence and cherish the impressions she left with us.

I was honored to have dinner with Marty, Ben, and Jean, in a local spot when Jean drove down for a visit a while ago. I am so sorry for the loss of your mom, grandmother, and aunt. She made such an impression on everyone, including me, with her kindness and generosity, and I know that she was a rare treasure. Your family was very blessed to have had her, and she was obviously loved greatly. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
