WALLINGFORD - Everett E. Wight, 87, of Wallingford, loving husband of Faith (Drake) Wight, died peacefully, Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at the Masonicare Health Center in Wallingford.
Everett was born in Providence, R.I., Aug. 16, 1930, a son of the late Everett E. Wight Sr. and Edith M. Clough Wight, and had been a Wallingford resident for many years. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, and had been employed in pharmaceutical sales until his retirement. He was an active member in the Christadelphian community since May 17, 1952.
In addition to his wife, Faith, he is survived by two children, Faith (Vincent) Marra, of Wallingford, and David W. (Nancy) Wight, of Pennsylvania; four grandchildren, Joshua (Amy), Benjamin (Jaime), and Daniel Lagasse, and Aaron Wight; and 11 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by great-grandson, Dominiq Porterfield.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 12 at the Christadelphian Chapel, 145 Evansville Ave., Meriden, Conn., at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Christadelphian Bible Mission of the Americas at www.cbma.net.
