TO A DEAR FRIEND FROM WAY BACK. BOB AND MY DAD, FRED ERASMUS, WORKED TOGETHER AT THE BUTLER STREET FIREHOUSE. REST IN PEACE. HE AND DAD ARE TOGETHER AGAIN IN THE VETERANS CEMETARY, ORDERING UP VERDOLINI'S PIZZA.

To the family and friends of Bob,
I occasionally saw Bob when we worked together on the MFD some time ago. He was probably the best natural story teller I've ever met. I've lived in London, England, many years, but hoped to see Bob again and ask to record his favorite stories, perhaps for a book. He told stories like a good writer writes them. He was also a great pre-response man as a fire inspector, and he had many good friends on the Meriden Fire Department. I am very sorry for your loss.

ai was much younger than him, but I remember when he came to our house on State St Ext., he always had a good joke and was fun to be with.I have not seen him since 1974, but always kept him in my thoughts.God bless him and comfort his family. Arthur J.Gagne

Dear Bobby, Stella and family,
We were sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. His shared friendship with my own Dad back in the old neighborhood, along with his many acts of thoughtfulness and kind attributes have always stayed with me.
He will be missed greatly.

Dear Mary & Family,
Mere words can't express my sympathy over the loss of your beloved father. May he rest in peace with your sweet mother, and may God give you comfort and peace during this difficult time. Please know that you are in my thoughts & prayers.
