WALLINGFORD - Victor "Joe" Jimmo Jr., 70, passed away suddenly on Saturday, April 25, 2015, from a long illness. Joe was a longtime Connecticut resident and business owner.
He was born Dec. 23, 1944, the son of the late Victor J. Jimmo, Sr., and the late Josephine (O'Clair) Jimmo. Joe was self-employed up until his death.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lois M. (Bartlett) Jimmo; his daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Ronnie Bishop; his grandsons, (all of whom he was so very proud of), Christopher, Austin, Connor; his brothers, Richard (Marlene) and family, Roland (Sheila) and family; his sisters, Julie (Stanley) Goode and family, and Pamela (Joe) Brylanski, and his adopted sister, Joanne Michard. Joe was predeceased by his brothers, Raymond and Daniel.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 1, at 10 a.m. directly at Most Holy Trinity Church, 84 N. Colony St., Wallingford. Interment will be private. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to the Wallingford Cardinals Youth Baseball program, or the Wallingford "On The Team Fund", c/o John Christofor, 6 Maryann Lane, Wallingford, CT, 06492.
