TURNERS FALLS - Clarence L. Antley, 26, of Fourth Street died Wednesday (10-9-13).
He was born in Twentynine Palms, CA, the son of Denise Aiken and Sylvester Antley. Clarence was a graduate of Greenfield High School, Class of 2004, at the age of 16. He continued his education at GCC, but then decided to take a break from school and entered into the work force.
Clarence worked at several restaurants starting with Burger King, McDonald's and then Super Stop & Shop. He loved being in the presence of people and continued to work in many other food chains.
Clarence enjoyed music, comedy and watching movies that made him laugh. He loved his family and friends and showed it every time he was in their presence.
Among his survivors, Clarence leaves his mother, Denise Aiken of Turners Falls; his father, Sylvester Antley of Augusta, GA, his stepfather, Steven Howard of NH; his maternal grandparents, Mary Lou Aiken of Springfield and William Reynolds of NJ, his paternal grandparents, Flormae Scott of SC and Garnett Clark of NY; five brothers, Steven Brown, Trevis Brown, Sylvester Antley Jr., Joshua Antley and Christopher Antley; two sisters, Breanna Brown and Angel Antley; a nephew, Jaxon Daniels, and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Saturday (10-19-13) at 11 a.m. at the Kostanski Funeral Home, 1 Kostanski Square, Turners Falls. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
A calling hour will be held Saturday morning from 10 until the time of the service.
