Dear Weldon family,

My condolences about the passing of John L. Weldon, I knew him via his brother, John R. Weldon, Jr. who was a fighter pilot during World War II.

I am a historian who has researched his brother - John R. Weldon, Jr.'s wartime service. He went Missing In Action (MIA) on January 18, 1944 in New Guinea.

If a family member, John Michael Weldon could contact me, I would like to share the information that I have and speak with you.

With all respect,
Justin

Mike & Missy:
I was so sad to read about your dads passing. Though it has been 20 years since I last saw him, some of my fondest memories are of the time Steve and I spend with you father and you. I hope life finds you both happy and healthy. Your dad was a wonderful man and I'm sure Boomer and Dixie were there to greet him with a wink and wag. Best wishes and love to you both.

We will miss our cousin Johnnie and all the fun times we had at McKinney family gatherings with him singing and playing the guitar.
