While it seems most of us lose touch with our teachers once we graduate and move on to our adult lives, we carry with us the lessons learned from those who made a lasting impact for a lifetime. Mr. Stromberg was one of those teachers. He was a great teacher and person.

Mr. Stromberg was a favorite teacher of mine at PHS. I had him for two math classes, and enjoyed his unfailingly cheerful demeanor, his intelligence, and his patient and clear teaching style. He was not only a good teacher, but a good role model - truly a wonderful man. I feel blessed to have known him.

Dear Roni and family,
I was so sorry to hear about cousin Dick. We've missed hearing about him and you and your family. We have fond memories of being with him when visiting Aunt Esther and being with both of you at the cousins' reunion in Seal Beach.

Just know that our thoughts and prayers are with you!

With love,
Cousin Phyllis (Pearson) Ringham

Roni: I was very sad to learn of Dick's death. I have very many good memories of him over the years. He and Jim used to come over for dinner when they were at Fresno State. And then when his mother, my Aunt Esther, moved to Porterville we saw him regularly several times a year when we would visit her. He was always great to see and to visit with. I always thought of him as one of the finer human beings I knew. My best wishes to you and your family. Joy Chittick
