Bill and my father served in the same unit in WW2. I never knew Bill, but found him a few years back through the radio interview he did. I was able to contact Bill and we shared a lot of information. He told me things about what happened to their unit that my Dad had never disclosed. We shared photos, and I was so very glad I had the chance to know Bill. My deepest condolences to his family and friends on his passing. Another brave WW2 vet, passed to eternity.
