I am so sad about his passing. I leaned a lot from him. Drivers Ed. History through models and games. He so decayed to his students. I will never forget him.

From the Class of '73, I remember Mr. Hislop as a fairly new, young, Teacher of ours. He stands out with me because he was such a kind and gentle fellow with a different approach that had us behaving and paying attention in class, without having to raise his voice or resort to the usual routines in that regard. I have thought of him often - as a Role Model - over the decades since. My sincere condolences to family and loved ones.

Don was a great teacher and a man of strong character. I remember him driving his big truck around Red Bluff and blasting classical music at top volume. It made me smile, as he often did. A great man, a great loss; but also, great memories. My condolences.
