My sister star...i miss you tremendously. I never ever would've imagined this possible. Even four years later i still struggle with it. You were amazing and i kick myself for ever just assuming you'd always be here. Cause now your gone....i picked up the phoneto call you a few times. The world just doesn't seem as bright as it once did. I hope your up there watching us from all the stars above. Im sure i was not the best sister but you were...i love you always... Sadie. I never met Estrella, and I envy those who did. What I know of her I learned from dealing with her Mother Jane, who was a great help to me long distance. They must have been a lot alike. I am terribly sorry for this tragic loss. As a father of two daughters, it makes my heart ache.
"Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there.
I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush, I am the swift uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft star that shines at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there.
I did not die."

I didn't know her well
But all you had to do was meet her once as she was a bright brilliant amazing force of a woman to be with
Her joyous creative spirit will be dearly missed
To her family and friends I pray that God will wrap his loving arms around you and carry your sadness and burdens as he carries you through this tragic loss. My deepest sympathies and condolences to you all
The world is a much dimmer place without this lady in it

As children, Estrella and I would hike around the trails behind our grandparents house, catch snakes, lizards, fish in the lakes, ride our bikes and spend the days picking blackberries. Growing up with my cousin Estrella was an adventure every day, one that I am honored to have shared with her. Life can be short, holds no guarantees and at times brutal, but I know hers was filled with laughter and smiles which is all that is needed to make her story an ultimately happy one. To Kota, while anybody would have loved for your mother to have had more time in life, don't let it get you down. She loved and was loved by many. As the quality of a book isn't based on it's number of pages, it's the content of our lives that define it's value.

Oh Star... So many things I want to tell you, like I love you, I miss you, and I've been thinking of your paintings up on your wall. I've been thinking of the rings on your fingers and the sparkle in your eye. I've been thinking of how I felt jackson kick in. my belly for the first time at your house, all those years ago...I've been thinking of all these things for the past few months, thinking we'd get together soon. I miss you, and I don't have any other words that work for what I'm feeling. I know youre out there, with the stars and trees and water from your paintings...I know you are

My cousin, my friend..so many years went by and we didnt have contact. One month ago you message me on Fb and ask how I am doing and we need to catch up. I respond with "over the phone, call me." I was looking forward to seeing you and meeting your son at Lukes wedding in september. Find out 1 week later you are gone. We get so busy in our lives we forget to keep in touch with the ones we love. I am sorry, we lost contact. But you are always and forever will be in my heart. I am still in shock that you are no longer here. I have nothing but wonderful memories of you when we were kids. I love you and you will be forever missed.

Dear Jane and Kota,
Estrella you will always be remembered for your quick wit and mischievous mind, with childlike
playfulness, you won the affections of all who had the good fortune to be
in your presence. Your enchanting and lovable spirit will live on in the
hearts and minds of all whom you touched.

Jane my heart breaks for the both you and Kota, I have asked God to wrap his arms around you and comfort you during this difficult time. Please know when you need help, or some time for yourself, I will be here for you, all you have to do is ask.

With love and affection,
~Stacey

I love you and miss you my stray. It never crossed my mind that we would loose you, especially in such a way, never ever crossed my mind. God give me the strength to accept the things I cannot change. You were my very first friend when I moved here and I'll never forget the first day we met. Come visit me in my dreams babe. I love you.

Words cannot describe the pain I feel for you, Jane, Kota, William and Bill. Not to mention the pain of my loss of a daughter of 20+ years. My heart bleeds tears through my eyes, and the world will never be as bright and lively as it once was. With God's mercy and time the pain may diminish a bit, but it will take a great amount of time, and a great amount of mercy. Love you all.

I really don't know what to say. Your passing just seems surreal. I wish I could talk with you just one more time, give you one more hug, hear you laugh once more. Some of my earliest memories are of playing with you when we were toddlers. Godspeed cousin. I love and miss you. Little Kota is in the best of hands.

Estrella, such an intelligent, intuitive, sensitive, hard-working young woman. You were a star student who paid attention, wanted to learn, and always striving to be better. You were a teacher who made yourself vulnerable to help others. The lessons you learned and you taught will continue after your passing.
