Hoping you are chatting away with your lovely Mother!
Ron, it was such a privilege to know you as The Damburger was such a part of my life for so many years until I moved from Redding. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.
I am not a member of the family nor an intimate friend, actually most will not even reecognize my name. However, Ron was an exmple of friendly that I will never forget. He was a great example for me and I send my condolences to his family and friends.
We'll never forget you Ron... Thank you for being such a positive influence on our lives as we were just starting out our little family. Sending our love to the Dickey family and the Damburger family!
Our memory of Ron's winning smile and twinkling eyes will always remind us to find the joys in every day and to cherish what matters most: the people we love. Ron was, and will always be, one of the most lovely human beings I have ever known.
Condolences to his family and friends...Worked for Ron for 6 years at Damburger and have so many GOOD MEMORIES about that time....Farwell Ron you will be so missed!
I was so very sad to hear about Ron's passing. "shocked". I met Ron through is daughter Julie, and worked at Damburger. NEVER, NEVER did I see him without a smile and a kind word. He was a great man. My thoughts and prayers are with his entire family during this most difficult time.
Nellie, I am so sorry to hear about your dad. He was always friendly and happy when we would see him at the Damburger. I will be thinking about you.
Ron became a member our family when I was just 14 years old. In nearly every memory I have of Family Ron was there and though I did not have a brother Ron filled that role better than any brother could have. I have never know a kinder more loving person nor a more selfless person who always put the needs of family ahead of his own. If every there was a man that I would like to be more like in my life it would be Ron. Ron was my brother and my friend and he will be greatly missed until the day we meet again.
Ron: It was our great good fortune to have known you. Thanks.
Many fond memories... !!! You touched my heart and gave me much support. I wish we would have stayed in touch. I'll see you in heaven.
I will always remember Ron as my smiling full of life much loved son-in-law. After 43 years he became more like a son to me.
I will never for get what a loving and caring husband he was to my daughter. I knew my daughter would always be loved and taken care of. He was an equally great Dad and Grandfather and his family meant everything to him.
We loved you so much Ron and will always miss your smiling face.
Ron my friend, you will be missed, but never forgotten. You will always be in our hearts and in our memories.
Ron was an amazingly selfless, caring, and energetic brother-in-law who early on became much more like a brother to me. He was the most loving and supportive family man I've ever known. He wasn't afraid to tackle any project or challenge, and he always made a success of it. I seldom saw him without a smile on his face. Kathy, Julie, and Nell, I can't begin to tell you how sorry I am for your loss. What a blessing it was to have such a man in your life--a man that also touched the lives of so many others. He is so deeply missed.
Ron did his family and community proud when he took over a Redding institution "Dam Burger"! I considered him a friend and respected him a great deal. To his family I can only say, he lives on in our memories and thoughts !
