Helen N. Eeds

March 12, 1920 - February 13, 2014

Helen, age 93, passed peacefully in her sleep with her daughter Shirley at her bedside.
Helen was the daughter of Frank and Pearl Bresindine of Pine Bluff, Arkansas.

She was a single parent of three children, Henery Lee and C. Gene Gravenmier who proceeded her in death.

Helen was a cook; a member of the Food Services Union, a member of the Moose Lodge for 25 years. Helen loved to dance and continued to dance until the age of 92 years. Helen had an excellent sense of humor.

Survived by daughter Shirley P. Dugan of Redding, CA, two grandsons John Dugan of Memphis, TN and Eric Dugan, MD of Alexandra, LA, two great grandchildren. Her journey is complete, she will be truly missed.

Visitation at McDonalds Chapel 5-7 pm February 19, 2014.
Services and burial at McDonalds Chapel 1-2 pm February 20, 2014.

Family will gather at 901 State St. following graveside services.

I loved Helen's spunk and tenacity! I was her neighbor for the last year or so of her life and am glad to have known her, even if it was for a short time.
