Dear Frances & family I have many good memories from the times we spent there at the ranch. From the Bridal showers in the guest house to delivering the garland mom made every year for your sister. Blessings

Dear Frances and Family

It has been a number of years since Leonard and I teamed up to face the opposition on the other side of the tennis court. I loved to win games, but even more, Leonard hated to lose! He was a fierce competitor on and a gentleman off the court. Leonard played doubles because his arthritic hip wouldn't let him move fluidly across the courts. Knowing this he changed his game to accommodate the problem and played excellent tennis - he was cagey and calculating! Leonard's best partner however, was his wonderful wife Frances. I had known her for a number of years as she headed the special education programs for Shasta County schools. They always made a good looking couple and were delightful at social occasions mainly centered around tennis. I hate the thought that Leonard is not there to win a few more matches, but I will always fondly remember the matches we won and lost together!

Dear Frances: My husband, Dick, read the notice about Leonard in the online version of the Record Searchlight. Both of us were saddened at the news and our thoughts are with you now and in the future.

Francis and Family: Leonard, my father Barney Timone, mother Emma Timone and yourself were friends many years ago. I knew Leonard as a fine man who often tried, in a good natured way, to keep me off of Rising River Ranch - fishing and hunting - as a young Fall River High School student. I have always held Leonard in great respect having learned and benefitted from his humor and counsel over the years. On behalf of Barney, Emma and myself our condolences. Barney Timone Jr. (Bob)

Frances and family. My wife and I want to send our condolences and prayers to you and the family. Leonard's passing was a shock to me because I didn't know he had been ill. I first met Leonard when I lived in Burney and used to bowl against him. He was fun to be around because of his dry humor; which I have also. Leonard was a good man and a giving man and it was an honor to know him. May he RIP.

Francis,
What a priviledge to have known Leonard. He has been missed by us. I have some wonderful memories that I cherish from him. He tried to be so grumpy with me that I just would laugh at him and just move on with what I needed to do to help him with his problems. Josh took great pleasure in being able to assist him when he needed it. They had many great conversations about animals and both loved them very much.
I know he loved you and you miss him. Our prayers and thoughts are with you now and always. April and Josh Pollard

Mrs Meyer, Can I address you as Francis now that I'm 48? :) I just received a Patriot Guard notice for Leonard's service. The first thing I thought of is the huge respect my father has for your husband. Dad's hard to earn respect for Leonard was often stated over the years. While it was you who made such an impression on me, both you and your husband made an obviously good and lasting impression on my parents. May God be with you, and may Leonard rest in peace.
