Hey Gregg,
We have been friends since we were ten years old. I will miss you old buddy.
We have been through a great deal of adventures, misadventures, and other fun times. There were many times you had my back and I had yours. You , Craig, and I, got an apartment in the summer after high school. It was full time school, work, and party time, but we survived.
I just want to say to Colleen, Gregg's daughters and grandchildren...Gregg was my oldest and dearest friend and I am honored to to call him my friend.
I'll see you on the other side Gregg!

Gregg was my Deadhead brother. We fought like most brothers (mostly over politics), but we still loved each other. I will always cherish the road trips to distant Furthur shows and the great job Gregg did as my designated driver/ babysitter on those trips. Gregg often told me that when he was gone he wanted to be remembered by the Grateful Dead lyric "What a long strange trip it's been" Thank you Gregg for allowing me to be part of that trip..

Goodbye, good friend. You will be missed by many. Your sense of humor was keen, your love of life great, and your passion in our industry was never ending. Thanks for helping me not only in my career but also in my personal life. Colleen, never a visit by Gregg was complete without him talking about you and his family, and then quickly following up with questions about how my family was doing.

Gregg,
Old friend, I'll miss you, but never forget the great times - from the first day at Hub Pipe with a cast on your Leg (That was a good story) to the many other good times through the years. Thanks for all the years of friendship.
Colleen, I am deeply sorry for your loss.
February 15, 2014
Colleen, So sorry to hear of Gregg's passing. Sue and I graduated from San G with Gregg, and I go back to 7th grade at Highland Jr. High where I met this big guy that turned out to be a big, friendly teddy bear. I remember Gregg as having a quiet, subtle(?) wit, a quick smile, and always being a great classmate, teammate, and friend. Gregg will be missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
February 13, 2014
Colleen, I am grateful that in the past few years I have been able to reconnect with Gregg and you. Gregg was such a kind, compassionate friend that put concerns of others first. His wit and infectious smile will be missed by so many. Colleen, know you and your family are in my heart, prayers and thoughts during this difficult time.

Gregg was a good man, and to his family he was a friend to many. Many people never get that it is more important to "Give Love" than it is to "Get Love".
I am sure at his service and in the weeks, months and years to come you will continue to feel the Love and Kindness that Gregg had given to so many. He may Have left this world and closed this Chapter of Life.
Rest assure his smile and kindness will live on through the Minds, Hearts and Souls of so many that he has touched including me.
God Bless you Gregg, and Thank You for being my friend.
Your Friendship enriched my life, and like so many others I will always be proud to say that Gregg Gridley was my friend.

"Always quick with a tease but followed with kindness. Gregg made his mark at San G with his wit, sports and abounding loyalty to the rest of the classmates. Forever in my heart..."

Gregg always took the time necessary to get to know people in his business world. He helped launch many careers and he would circle back around to offer more support. Psalms 8: 3 & 4

Just finding out about the loss of my uncle. It saddens me to know that we haven't talked in quite a while, but he will always remain a sole contributor of who I am today. I love you uncle Greg, say hi to mom for me.
February 13, 2014
I am truly at a loss for words after learning of Gregg's passing. I remember the funny, kind guy that had so many friends in school. Whether you were part of Gregg's inner circle or not he always took the time to say hello; took a special interest in you and always had something funny to say. And yes, that smile was one-of-a-kind. My thoughts and prayers are with Colleen and their family. Rest in peace, Gregg.

"I remember Gregg as the nice guy who would go out of his way to help you and especially make you smile. I only knew him for a short time but those years have many fond memories."
February 11, 2014
Gregg always teased me about whatever he could think of. He knew it didn't bother me because I always could see that smile and twinkle in his eyes. He was everybody's friend and I feel honored to have befriended him again in the last few years along with Colleen . God has his Master Plan. Miss you and rest in comfort.

I will remember Mr. Gregg Gridley with fond respect and appreciation.

Though he and I were never more than acquaintances, I didn't hang out with him and we moved in separate circles. But, I remember him as a young man who was kind, and treated everyone with respect. In the large and highly transient school system we lived, you cannot ask for much more than that.

He was a good member of the community, and though he will be missed, we are lucky to have known him. He made our life experiences better for them.

My sincerest condolences to you Coleen and your family but my happiness for your life with him.

Sincerely,
Koch

Gregg, there are no words to express how much you will be missed! My best laughs were with you and the boys from Jr. High. You guys were a riot in all our classes together and I'm sure drove the teachers nuts. Love you for that! What fun we had growing up! WWNN.

Dear Colleen, please know my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Take comfort in the wonderful memories you and Gregg shared. I know your home had to be filled with constant laughter and good times. Gregg was a great man!

A great friend and classmate has been lost, and with sadness we say goodbye to Gregg. His good sense of humor was felt by all of us. Even in business he was very helpful. Our last reunion was full of good stories and camaraderie. My sincere condolences to Colleen and family and to all who knew Gregg.
February 11, 2014
Gregg was a damn good man and a great, great friend. He cared for others tremendously and never judged. From our band of brothers Gregg was the historian - he remembered everything and knew seemingly everyone. And he was so smart, I'm not sure we really realized just how smart he was. Colleen now takes his place with us - she is one of us and will carry his loving, playful spirit. Rest easy, Gregg.
February 11, 2014
Gregg, I want to thank you for all the knowledge and advice you gave me in my professional life throughout the years. I want to thank you even more for always taking an interest and being a mentor to me in my personal life as well. I remember a conversation we had when you assured me that I was a good father at a time when I really needed to hear that. It meant alot coming from you because I knew you to be a man who always said what he felt, whether you wanted to hear it or not. I respect people who have that quality. Those who knew you know that you were not a man who just complained if something was'nt right. You fought for what you believed in and made a dedicated effort to make it right. I always respected, and will continue to respect you for that. There is a special place in my heart for you Gregg. Rest in Peace.

Gregg. Ever since 7th grade you were a good friend. Your sense of humor always astounded me. It is with sadness that I say goodbye. My prayers to Colleen and your family for comfort and sweet peace.

We were brothers, Gregg. I don't ever remember having an argument or bad words with you in over 50 years of our friendship. And, never forget the Jimi Hendrix Concert, summer '68! And, don't forget that Roger drove afterwards, and we STILL got pulled over!

R.I.P., ol' buddy.
