'94 thru '2002 Joan dedicated herself to helping me heal old and new wounds.
I would give anything to spend 1hr again with you! So much unfinished business between us. Since that is not possible my wish for you and your family - "let there be peace, even thru grief." - one of your most adament sayings.
Oh wow! I had no idea! I was just going to call her. She was instrumental in helping my best friend who passed 3 years ago. I was googling her phone number and this came up. I'm in shock. I only met her a handful of times, but she truly impacted those around her. Wow. Sad. Shocked. What happened?
Joan, I know I've told you many times how much you helped me in my life. Without you I would never have created a wonderful life with Janet. The last time we saw you it was great, we laughed and cried. I didn't know it would be the last time I would see you. God bless you and thank you for all you did for us.
We just wanted to light a candle for Joan from all of us. Thank you, thank you, thank you for all you've done for us.
Joan is and always will be a very important part of my life. I will always hold her dear. She was so dedicated to helping survivors, and she did it so well. Her presence in my life has been monumental. She will be missed every day by me and my family.
The song "How Do I Live Without You" has played through my mind a million times since you left this earth. I have gotten to know your son Brian - and am telling you, you did a great job "Mom!" My daughter adored you- Auntie Joan in our family. I know we will meet again, and that you are in a better place. I hope you know how loved you were here on earth my dearest friend. Much love, Vicki
