While you don't know me your Dad knew John and Annie Vacchetta my Dad's brother, my Aunt and Uncle, who had a diary on Shoup Avenue in Canoga Park. I remember my Uncle John talking about the Giacopuzzis and Mario's dairy very fondly. I also experienced many visits to the diary and know how lucky we were to experience seeing calves being born, feeding and milking time as well as the bottling of the milk. I know they are all meeting together now and talking about the good times that were part of all Italian families. My sincere sympathy for your great loss.

We send our condolences to Mr. G's family and legions of friends. We knew him through members of his family. He was justly proud of each of them. We last saw him at Mary Ferro's 90th birthday party this year where he was quietly holding court as patriarch of him family. We also send best wishes in addition to condolences to all who knew him since Mr. G would probably have preferred that. When members of the greatest generation leave us, it is our duty to keep their values to pass on as their legacy and we are sure that his descendants will do so.

I am so sorry for your loss. Your Dad was definitely a one of a kind.
He loved his wife and kids and especially his Grandchildren.
May you remember all the great memories you shared with him and I pray you will find comfort in them.
May god keep you all in his caring arms until you are all reunited with your special Husband,Dad, and Nonno in heaven.
