My dad, Ray Morey, was friends with Sam Dimas. I believe they taught together at Poly before my dad went on to Wilson. I grew up hearing stories about Sam Dimas, and tho' I believe I only met him a few times, I felt as if I knew him because my dad always spoke so highly of him.
So sorry for your loss as we remember our dads this Father's Day.

I played on the golf team 1960-62 and always enjoyed Sam's leadership and enthusiasm. He was our coach and friend. I was able to keep in touch a little over the years-Sorry I could not make the memorial service-was out of town. May God Bless the entire family

I was Sam Dimas's student aide at Poly in 1956. He was my very favorite teacher. Our class has had reunions every five years and Mr. Dimas attended many of them. The attendance at his funeral showed how many lives he touched in a very positive way.
