Lauren you were one of my dearest friends of all times for me. To hear that you aren't out there smiling with the ear to ear grin hurts more than i can tell you. You were there in my time of need and I apologize to for not being the same friend to you. Why I was searching for you today I can't say, but finding you this way is not what I would have expected in a million years. I know that the lord has taken you to be with your dad finally, and I know you missed him dearly. My thoughts and prayers are with you forever dear. I can see your smile as I type this, so I know you still are smiling. Sorry I left so suddenly but its what I needed to do for me. Your best buddy forever.

I was shocked to read of Lauren's passing. My deepest sympathy to her family, this is a tragic loss.
Lauren always seemed full of energy and cared greatly for the ones she loved. I remember how happy she was when Claire became pregnant; she made a tape of Adam Ant's Goody two shoes to help her stop bad habits. She loved seeing Jeff (effer or jefe), Lori and the B-man. She had a special place in her heart for her mother, and was very proud of her. Little things like when Lauren told me how much it had meant to her that her mom kept a car that her father bought her until she had to get a new one. Lauren had a huge smile reflecting and mimicking her mom dancing to the B-52's Love Shack… bang–bang, bang-bang. She told me numerous stories of her father and how much she loved him. Whether it was a reference to the compost pile in the backyard, planting the backyard hill, his time in Viet-Nam, or his work at NBC; she always admired him. I seem to remember one of her favorite pictures is of her in his lap.
Lauren appreciated the little things which meant so much to her. She loved movies and music. Her attention to detail was amazing. She had an adventurous side and loved to ride motorcycles, jet ski, snow ski, and really could drive a car – even while playing her steering wheel with drumsticks. The world was a brighter place with her in it.
I will always remember Lauren as the beautiful young girl with a great smile, soft hair, big heart and wonderful freckles (especially the ones on her nose). She made me a better person.

To the Humphrey Family:
I went to school with Lauren for several years and if I could tell you the thing I remember most about her, it was her everlasting desire to make realize how wonderful life was. She was such a quirky, fun loving person to be around. Know that she is still that wonderful woman, now just a guardian angel looking out for you all. You all are in my prayers.

Though I only knew Lauren when we were both quite younger, I continue to remember the spirited woman she was. Her laugh was contagious and her smile lit up the entire room. I can't even begin to imagine how difficult this is for your family, but if it means anything at all, Lauren was one of the kindest souls to me. May you rest in peace my dear.

Words cannot begin to describe how deeply sorry I am for your loss. Lauren and I went to high school together and I knew her fairly well. Though I have not stayed in contact with her for many years, I'm sure she stayed the bright and wonderful person she always was. Seeing her picture brought back instant memories of that infectious smile she had. She will truly be missed...
