My deepest sympathy for the loss of such a giant when it comes to the industry, RSES and especially family. Those of us that had the opportunity to sit and chat with Al were truly enlightened about life in general - with details and examples. Going to miss his leadership and guidance.

So sad to learn of Al's passing, our sincere condolences to Marilyn and Family. I have many fond memories of Al having served along side him on the Refrigeration Service Engineers Society. His dedication to RSES was only preceded to that of his wife Marilyn and family. Al was a wealth of information in the Refrigeration Industry that he freely shared with all members. I will always remember his warm smile and greeting from both him and Marilyn every time we met. And many times when we were getting ready to leave. He would jokingly say. ITS TIME TO GET OUT OF DODGE. RIP my friend. Ron McCarthySt. John's Newfoundland, Canada.

Oh how you will be missed Al. I have been so blessed that you and Marilyn came into my life. I cherished and will cherish the time I was given to spend with you. I will always giggle remembering the trips to Springfield and you giving me the backseat driver permission to boss you while driving the three of us the the meetings. I have such fond memories of the journey we took for the LIP Program through Stone Hayes CIL.

I loved chatting with you in regards to our travel to Washington and the huge list of must stop and see. Im glad I had that list. I will miss your wisdom on most any subject locally, political and the past.

I will miss hearing you in the background tattling on Marilyn when I talk with her.

I will never let my memories of you go!

Love ya,
Donna

We will miss you Uncle Allan. I always looked forward to seeing you at the family reunions. Brian and I would be sure to have a long conversation with you no matter where we saw you and Marilyn as kids. You would always ask how things were going and what I had been up to. That was typically followed up with some obscure fact I didn't know. You would amaze me on how well connected and in touch you were in life. Thanks for being a "Great" Uncle.
