Our dear, dear friend Ray was escorted by angels into Jesus's arms and I can not put into words what a void this will be. I only wish everyone would have had the opportunity to meet this wonderful, humbly, loving man. He was Jesus with skin on and heaven just received an incredible man into it's kingdom

I light a candle for you, Ray, as I simultaneously imagine you singing, "This little light of mine, I'm gonna let it shine." and let it shine you did, indeed and you didn't put it under a bushel or let Satan blow it out, either. Please give my Dad a hug for me when you see him. Now you all can enjoy the PERFECT 4th day together. De Colores

Ray was the most honest, gracious, humanitarian I ever met. We shared some great times during his campaigns for State's Atty. I know many will miss his sweet spirit and kindness.

I became acquainted with Ray when I was a secretary at Churchill Jr. High and worked with him with soccer registration. He was a very kind man with a heart of gold. He will be missed. My heartfelt condolences to the family.

I have been saved by Jesus and will be forever grateful to Ray and Agnes Kimbell for being my loving teachers, mentors, and friends.

Ray taught me about Jesus through the bible and through his spirit-filled (and overflowing) life. He taught me to know, follow, and LIVE Jesus. Ray's living witness throughout his adult life and his faithful witness in his final days are AWE-INSPIRING. He taught me how to grow, to witness, and how to mature in Christian friendship. There are many ways to spell role model, but for me this is, RAY.

I am a new creation because Jesus loves me. But I know this also because of the love and service and testimony of Ray and Agnes.

As I mourn my loss because Ray is gone, may I rejoice that Ray is now in the arms of Jesus. a sister in Christ, Sue

Agnus, I thank Ray for being such a positive male role model in my life. His Christian walk was characterized by his love for others. He impacted the lives of so many people. I will never forget the talk he gave about not wasting his cancer. Even in the midst of adversity Ray let his light shine. I am grateful for him sharing his faith with me and so many others. - Tony Franklin

Our sincere condolences to the Kimbell family. The soccer program was a real enjoyment to our son during his junior high years. Later, he also greatly benefited from the Weekend with which Ray and Anges were involved. He always had a smile and friendly greeting whenever we would see him. Our loss is certainly Heaven's gain.

Dear Agnes and family,
Ray was a great witness to his faith. It shown brightly during the early days of Chrysalis and in "The Weekend". He touched many lives including mine. I have been blessed to have worked beside him. Well done good & faithful servant. God's peace.
In his love,
Kevin Farrell
