Ms. Wuehle, I always loved you as my home etc teacher! Gave me so much good input - I always knew you cared! R.I.P...

As a fellow Home Economics teacher (and that is what it was called when we both were teaching, now Family and Consumer Science) we had many contacts, friends, and interests in common. I was privileged to have her as my roommate the summer we took a course, "Food, Fashion, and Culture of Hawaii", at the University of Hawaii. While we didn't see each other often the last few years, I will still miss her.

Last time I saw Aunt Joyce she put a pot of soup on and we went through old photos. She showed me her beautiful quilts, sown by hand with tiny stitches. She had won many quilting competitions but didnt want to show her quilts at events because, as a home economics teacher, she had had so many show and tells. Aunt Joyce was disciplined and creative in her quilts, and I am sure many areas. We had a snow storm while visiting and Aunt Joyce was out there shoveling the heavy snow with me and Joe. Onward Aunt Joyce until we meet again.
