Barbara, you were my oldest cousin (of course, I can just imagine you wincing at that!) and I looked up to you. I loved the charcoal drawings you made of me when I was five and again when I was 16. I loved your quirky, offbeat sense of humor. And, I remember so many funny, delightful things about you. Of course, you might not think they were as funny as I do! But they do make good stories, like, wailing all over the house when you turned 30, like when your hand went numb because you picked up a spider instead of the rubber band for your pony tail because you refused to wear your glasses, like having me visit for the summer the year I graduated high school, like the time you came to my house for a party when I was in my late thirties and immediately said, "Don't you just hate that crepey skin on your neck?" Ah, you created so many memories, ones that live on and keep you very much alive and appreciated.
