Tami, Marla, Kim & Shannon,
I was saddened, for you, when I read of your mom's passing--but I know for sure that she loved the Lord and she is ecstatic to be "HOME."
I worked beside your mom 10 1/2 months a year for 23 years which equals about 5200 days we were together 8 hours a day! You get to know a person well. She was always very giving and positive.
Over 25 years ago she gave me a book of Bible verses and quotes. I still read it frequently and it reminds me of her faith. One of my favorite quotes from it is "the brook would lose its song if God removed the rocks."
Your mom and I went through a lot of ups and downs in our lives together and her faith always saw her through.
She was a special lady to many! She loved her family and she was proud of you all.
Wishing you Peace in knowing she always loved the Lord and she is where she ultimately longed to be! Blessings to you all.

Kim, my deepest sympathies on the passing of your mother Barbara from an old childhood friend and classmate. It was also my honor to work with your Mom at Springfield High School. At an early stage in my teaching career it was pointed out to always make friends with the head Secretary. She was always so kind and helpful to me. I treasure the years I had with her.
