Beldon was a friend of my parents, Bud and Hazel Helfrich, for many years. It has been several years since I saw Belden, but I remember him as a nice person, who loved to tease us kids, and always had a big laugh and smile. My sympathy to his family.

Beldon was such a practical joker . I remember staying at my Grandma Betty's house for the summer and he would always make time to come over and visit and tease us kids. He loved to call me George instead of my real name. Of course it made me crazy when I was young but then later in life I felt lucky to have my special name that he had for me. He was a strong headed and strong hearted man just like most of the Briggs men we know and love. I will miss him and my special name of George:)
