I met Don and Marva in 2005. I helped them around the house and we became friends, and in a while they were like parents to me. They were both very remarkable people and I am blessed to have known them. Thank you, Don, for all the great memories! You will be missed. I love you.

I miss you so much, Grandpa. I am overwhelmed with joy that you can now be with Grandma, but we selfishly miss you here. You lived a full and blessed life, and you worked hard to accomplish all that you did. Thank you for being such a great lap to sit on for stories from the old days, a push on the swing you set up for me, and sharing your infinite wisdom with all of us. I wouldn't be the woman I am today without you. All my love, forever and always. - Alisyn

"Life is short, and we have not too much time to gladden the hearts of those that travel the way with us.
O, be swift to love; make haste to be kind" --Henri Amiel

Thanks so much for all who have taken the time to write on this tribute site. I know Dad is smiling now.

Don and Marva were such a huge part of my life and even more, an ever present, always loving influence for Heidi and Davin. I would never be able to thank them enough for all their love and support. They are missed so very much.

I have so many memories of Uncle Don, It is hard to share them all. I remember when he and Aunt Marva drove up in their little Dolphin unexpectedly along with two grandkids. My children were young and we all had a good time reminiscing and watching the kids play.He helped my mom when were all young. Mom was a single mother with a single income and 5 children, I remember one Holiday when she was not able to do anything and she got a envelope from uncle don in the mail and she cried and was so happy. That is the way he was, a blessing to so many and I will always remember him, may he rest in peace. My prayers go out to his family, his children and grandchildren may the good fun filled memories help ease your grief.

RIP MY BROTHER.YOU DID THINGS DIFFERENT THAN MOST,AND YOU WERE VERY SPECIAL TO ME. YOU ALWAYS SEEMED TO SENSE WHEN THINGS WERE GOING KIND OF ROUGH FOR ME YEARS BACK,AND YOU WOULD HELP ME MORE THAN YOU EVER REALLY KNEW. I WAS BLESSED WITH FIVE BROTHERS,AND I KNOW YOU KNEW I LOVED YOU VERY MUCH. I ALWAYS TOLD ALL OF YOU I WAS THEIR FAVORITE SISTER,BUT IT HELPED THAT I WAS THE ONLY ONE YOU ALL HAD. LOTS OF GOOD MEMORIES.YOU WILL BE MISSED.I KNOW YOU ARE TELLING ALL YOUR STORIES TO ALL WHO WILL LISTEN IN HEAVEN. LOVE, SIS

An adventurous life! My dad (Robert Brown) told me often about his younger brother's trip out West in the Model A with extra gas cans! My thoughts and prayers are with you.

My heart is with my cousins, though we have never met. I know how hard to lose your dad, but he will always be in your hearts. May happy memories bring you laughter even through the tears. Love from your Uncle Bob (Robert)'s daughter, Carol, and your Aunt Edith.
