I am sad that another fine Glenwood neighbor has passed away. I so enjoyed Mrs. Westover and always admired her energy. She mowed that huge lot herself on a ridin lawnmower and briskly walked the neighborhood daily, even with an umbrella if it was raining. Jonny & Junior, Bill, Mrs. Ivey...time marches on.

I am a neighbor of Dorothy's who always appreciated her beautiful yard. I moved here in 1994. My home was next door to one of Dorothy's other neighbors, Ella Ivy, who passed a few years ago. I remember how they used to visit about their flower gardens. Dorothy was always friendly to me and helped inspire me to help try to make Glenwood a cleaner neighborhood. I know she is at peace.

I waited tables at Denny's and knew your mother from there. She was a very pleasant person. Please accept my condolences.

Dorothy and Ralph. Two people I enjoyed knowing. Wonderful people who always had time to share over a cup of coffee in their kitchen. I met both of them in the 1970s. My friend Mike Moore rented from the Westovers and lived right next door. That began a friendship with them. Oddly I just drove past their home to see if it appeared she was still living there. I'm so sorry to be reading today of her passing. My condolances to her daughters, grandson and other family members. Dorothy and Ralf are two people I will remember for their kindness to others. Rest in Peace Dorothy, I will miss you.
