Roselyn Phibbs, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and daughter passed away on March 4, 2013 after a long battle with cancer.
Roselyn was born June 12, 1940 in Springfield, Oregon to Roald and Margaret (Wilson) Hanson. She graduated from Springfield High School in 1958 and was married to Ted Phibbs on August 23, 1959. They were married for the past 53 years and were also business partners. Rose Logging is named after her and she spent many years working as the office manager. She loved to
cook. Barbeques on her beautiful patios with lots of family and friends and dinners at the cabin for the hunting gang were her specialities. She recently taught her granddaughter Josie to make homemade bread and
pie crust.
She is survived by her husband Ted, son Tod Phibbs, daughter Shana (and Bob) Reno, grandchildren Cody and Zachary Phibbs, Josie and Justin Reno, her mother Margaret Ortis, her stepmother Signey Hanson, brothers Alex, Alfred and Albert Hanson and sister Heidi
Vaughan.
There will be a graveside service at Springfield Memorial Gardens on March 10, 2013 at 1:00pm
followed by a celebration of life at the Walterville
Grange. In lieu of flowers, please direct donations to Willamette Valley Cancer Research Center Foundation at 520 Country Club Road, Eugene, OR, 97401.

To Ted, Tod, Shana, Bob & Family;
We are deeply saddened for your loss. I'll never forget Rosie's beautiful smile, contagious laugh and generous heart. She has left a beautiful legacy in her children and grandchildren. I will forever cherish her friendship and the kindness she showed to me and my family when I worked at Rose Logging.
