I met Greg when we were about 16. We were both freestyle sprinters for cross town rival high schools in Rockford. He was a fierce competitor. In college we became teammates and good buddies. There was a constant smile and a knack for finding the fun in any situation. Geography separated us in later years but on those few occasions we got together the youthful smile and spirit remained unchanged. Keep smiling Buddy.

Our deepest sympathy to Greg's family and close friends for their loss. Our lives were touched by his generous creative spirit and yes, his building skills. Thanks, Greg, for stopping a bit and getting to know us, and for introducing us to your family. You are missed.
